Like you show but I thought I heard your charming co-host say that you bought a new freezer so that you could freeze honey ?!?! Honey should NOT be frozen. Hell, it shouldn’t even be refigerated. Keep it at room temp and enjoy it often.

Thanks for you comment. I should probably clarify. We don’t keep honey in the freezer. But we do use the freezer when we harvest honey. We freeze the capped frames for three days before we extract them to kill off any small hive beetle eggs that might be in the comb. There’s never a need to chill honey with the possible exception of creamed honey to keep it from re-crystallizing at a hot farmers market booth.
